While holding, press Power button for 1-3s (do not release Windows Key + B).While turned off, press and hold Windows Key + B.Some HP devices have a special key combination to restore BIOS from a previously working state: notebook has a non-removable battery and holding the power button down once the computer starts doesn't do anything, I held it down for 30 seconds and watched it boot / reboot / boot / reboot for the whole time as I mentioned in my original post it's almost like after pressing the power button to turn it on all buttons are disabled while it tries to do this bios update. This video is for non-removable battery (If your computer has a removable battery then remove it) Report into the thread whether you were able or not able to open Windows RE. Power on the computer the third time > allow the computer to open Windows RE troubleshooting Power on the computer again within two minutes > Power off the computer when you see the Microsoft icon Power on the computer > Power off the computer when you view the Microsoft Icon Reconnect the power adapter and power on the computer > report the findings Hold down the power button for 30 seconds.
